FKB 6C is one of only 138 Lotus Eleven recreations manufactured by Westfield in the mid 1980's. This car, chassis number 65, was built by the factory's own development engineer, Ray Concar and was built and raced by Ray from new until February 2004 when it was purchased by Peter Shaw.
The car features a spaceframe chassis almost identical to the original and with bodywork being a mixture of fibreglass moulding and aluminium panelling. The Engine is a race tuned “A” series featuring a big valve head, roller rockers, high lift cam and fully balanced and lightened it produces in the region of 100 BHP. With just 480 Kilos to power this makes the car extremely quick even by modern standards.

Ray Concar spent many years perfecting this Eleven concentrating particularly on the chassis geometry, corner weights, bump steer, and rear suspension operation. These developments provide a unique level of handling and roadholding and proved themselves on the circuit during the 80's and 90's when the car was raced in the 750 MC Championship.
The Eleven features in the book “the Westfield Story” with the pictures illustrating some of the suspension modifications made to this unique car and also showing the car in action at Brands Hatch with Ray Concar at the wheel.
Originally painted in Volkswagen Miami Blue the car has recently undergone complete restoration and has been returned to the traditional British Racing Green of the Le Mans winning Lotus of 1959.
